Wailuku town is located adjacent to Kahului and is considered Central Maui. It is where our State and County buildings are located and features boutiques, cafes, mom-and-pop type stores, local restaurants and lots of arts & culture . There are a few towns that make up Wailuku: Waikapu, Wailuku, Waiehu and Waihee.
The “newer” built and still building Kehalani Community is nestled on the mountainside of the West Maui mountains and at the foot of Iao Valley. Kehalani is made up of several communities: Ohia at Kehalani, Akolea, Milo Court, Maunaleo, Koa at Kehalani, Villas at Kehalani, The Cottages at Kehalani, Iliahi at Kehalani, Ho’olea Terraces, Ilima at Kehalani, and the newest development Anuhea at Kehalani (which is currently for sale).
